New Year Gathering & Training Event

In late January, we host an extended Gathering that includes several training sessions, followed by a potluck supper, fellowship, praise, a short 4th day witness, and worship with Holy Communion.  We also take time to recognize the Pilgrims and Teams of the prior year.  The New Year Gathering is typically hosted by and held at Highland Park United Methodist Church.  Click here for a map.

Spring Gathering & Annual Meeting

In May or June, we host a slightly shorter Gathering that includes the annual meeting of the Board of Directors, with a brief period of time focused on the financial reports and questions from the Community to the Board, followed by a potluck supper, fellowship, praise, a 4th day witness.  Worship is not held at this Gathering, since it typically is held immediately before Candlelight for one of the spring Walks where we do have a worship service with Holy Communion.

Chili Cookoff Gathering

In October or November, we host a more condensed Gathering including potluck supper, fellowship, praise, and a 4th day witness.  Worship is not held at this Gathering, since it is usually scheduled on the same day as a Candlelight, where we do have a worship service with Holy Communion.  For the past few years we have considered it an annual chili cookoff gathering.  Come and bring your best pot of chili and sample others.
